“You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.” Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love
Hello! I’m so glad you popped by.
My name is Rachel; I’m glad you’ve decided to stop by and learn a bit more about the girl behind the keys. I’m a faith blogger, disciple of Christ, and a creative, young wife with a heart after God.
I am a hopeless introvert that has uprooted herself from her comfortable little midwestern bubble to move abroad to the big smoke. It is probably the craziest thing I will ever do; I moved abroad for none other than love. It was a huge leap of faith for me. Luckily my husband is great and has surrounded me with love, companionship, and plenty of friends and family.
I’m a simple gal, really.
I love my Birkenstock sandals and Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. I’m a night owl but I love mornings. Because of that, I am usually prowling for any new motivation to get out of bed. I’m all about finding more effective ways to organize my life and improve my productivity. I pray, journal, work on the blog, or draw; whatever it is, I love to do it in the quiet hours of the morning. Mornings are yours. Think of the morning as your me time before the day attempts to steal your joy or demotivate you from your goals.
And last but certainly not least, the bread and butter of why I started this blog: I crave a deeper relationship with my Lord Jesus. I love to share the words he puts on my heart with other like minded young wives and women.
Speaking of faith…
If you’ve made it this far exploring my blog then you are likely A) a curious lurker or B) a woman of faith seeking advice and ministry. I hope you’re the latter or are at least intrigued at the possibility of the latter! I’m certainly not a perfect example (who is?) but every day I strive to be a better woman, wife, and friend through Christ Jesus.
I’ve tried so many times chasing perfection through my own strength. I’m still learning what it means to wholly rely on God. But I believe I am called to faith blogging. I pray that I encourage, inspire and uplift your Spirit by doing so!
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
